November Small Goals

As I type out this blog post I am sitting in my friend Ben's apartment in New York City. I never in a million years thought that I'd actually book this trip. As someone who prides herself on being a go getter, I certainly didn't know I'd be going and getting all this. So so excited to share more about this trip with y'all!

While we're on the topic of things I'm having trouble believing: I also can't believe that it's almost November already. We're almost done with 2017! Can you believe that? Y'all... I'm so ready for 2018. 2017 was a year of learning a lot + growing a lot, and I'm sure 2018 will be too... but I do hope it will be a little kinder to me.

Enough chit chat, let's talk about goals for November.

I didn't set goals for October. I took the month off from trying to force blogging to work for me to actually evaluate whether or not I wanted to be doing it and survey says, I totally do! I love writing. I love getting my thoughts out and sharing them.

October was so great! I slammed a month's worth of work into two weeks, I traveled to New York + Minneapolis! I met up with several internet friends and got to build some stronger connections with some existing friends I've met IRL, and I took a little break to get in tune with myself. I think October may have been my best month of the year. Not setting goals totally worked out for me.

Without further ado, here are my goals for November:

1) Finalize + shoot this year's Holiday Gift Guide

2) Throw the best Friendsgiving ever

3) Read 10 books

4) Come up with a new style ID

5) Try keeping a digital planner

What are your goals for November?
